Using high quality wrought iron these hand-crafted weathervanes measure approximately 90cm high (adjustable) and approximately 90cm wide (depending on which silhouette is chosen). A truly robust construction, the silhouettes are 3mm thick and the complete weathervanes weigh between 11 and 12 kg (24 lb to 26lb)! For details click here.
Flairmet offers a wide range of shapes for your weather vane together with a flexible fitting for fastening to a suitable wall, chimney or post. In addition to our standard shapes, we welcome the opportunity to design a vane especially for you, either using a graphic image supplied by you or one which we locate on your behalf (see options).

Weathervane finished with quality black powder-coating. Can be over-painted. Note: for exposed and coastal areas a galvanised finish is recommended for minimal maintenance (see below and see finishes).The price includes your choice from the wide range of standard shapes and standard fixings. Weathervane finished with quality galvanising. This gives a zinc (silvery) finish and can be over-painted. Note: for exposed and coastal areas a galvanised finish is recommended for minimal maintenance (see finishes). The galvanising process may result in the surface of the weathervane being uneven, but this is not visible at a normal viewing distance.The price includes your choice from the wide range of standard shapes and standard fixings. Weathervane - galvanised finish and powder-coated (prod ref: wvgalvpdr)
Weathervane finished with quality galvanising and powder-coated on top. Can be over-painted. Some experts say that galvanising should be allowed to weather for a few months before being over-painted (see finishes) and powder-coating applied immediately may chip off. In practice we have not found problems with this, and tend to prefer powder-coating for cosmetic reasons. However, customers should be aware of these potential limitations when ordering this option. The price includes your choice from the wide range of standard shapes and standard fixings. All prices are subject to carriage costs and VAT (as applicable). For other destinations local duties and taxes may be payable by the customer.
